The City of Bridgeport has received funding from the Arbor Day Foundation Tree Recovery Program to receive 75 free trees to improve the public benefit that trees provide to Bridgeport citizens.  To ensure a fair distribution, 25 trees have been designated for various public spaces where Bridgeport citizens spend their time. The remaining 50 trees will be distributed to Bridgeport residents within city limits
